Slater Bowlin, of Jellico, Tennessee, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on October 10, 1969, Slater was the beloved son of Bobby and Patricia Bowlin.

Slater is survived by his loving partner, Dawn, and their two children, Kristie (spouse Wesley Byrd) and Mathew Bowlin (spouse Nickole). He also leaves behind eight adoring grandchildren.

Slater attended Jellico High School and went on to work at Black Face Mining before serving his country in the Army. He was a dedicated employee and a proud veteran.

In his free time, Slater enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working as a machinist. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time with his family.

Slater Bowlin will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
