Asahara, Shoko age 63, formerly of Yatsushiro, Kumamoto, Japan passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. Shoko Asahara was the founder of Aum Shinrikyo the Japanese doomsday cult . Asahara was convicted of plotting the deadly 1995 Tokyo subway sarin- gas attack and was also involved in a number of many other crimes. In 2004, he was sentenced to death. In June 2012, his execution was delayed as a result of even more arrests of Aum Shinrikyo 's members. His execution took place July, 6,v2018 by way of hanging.
