Shirley Pratt of Newark, New Jersey, passed away on June 3, 2026 at the age of 80. She was born on January 21, 1946 to Henry Lee Jones and Mary Mae Jones.

Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Mareese Johnson, and four grandchildren. She worked as a bartender and housekeeper before retiring in 1999. Shirley was an active member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church organization.

During her free time, Shirley enjoyed hobbies such as camping, swimming, traveling, and volunteering. She brought joy to those around her with her infectious laughter and kind spirit.

Shirley will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She passed away peacefully from natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
