Ruoff, Shirley , of Heathrow, Florida passed away on November 23, 2016. Shirley was born on November 15, 1925 in Providence, Rhode Island. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Chester (Chet) Ruoff Jr. to whom she was married for 64 wonderful years. She devoted her life to her family and is survived by her son Steven Ruoff (Dawn) and their son Benjamin; daughter Holly Atkins (Jeff) and her children Jennifer and Todd Atkins (Stephanie) and great granddaughter Ashleigh Atkins. Shirley was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Heathrow Women's Club. In addition to being both an accomplished bridge player and gourmet cook, Shirley enjoyed golf, traveling and shopping. She had a wonderful life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends alike. A memorial service will be held at 10:00, December 1, 2016, at Atria Park of Lake Forest, 5433 SR 46, Sanford, Florida 32771. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida 101 E Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32801.
