Kahafer , Shirley Jean ,78, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 19, 2017. She retired from WJIE and was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center.Shirley was born on January 12, 1939, in Hardinsburg, Kentucky to the late Willard and Floy Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry John "Toots" Kahafer. Shirley is survived by her children, Debbie Vaughn (Tim), Skip Kahafer, Donna Smither (Gary), Patti Brown (Glenn); grandchildren, Summer Casse (Joel), Jaclyn Moore (Robbie), John Kahafer, Dustin Kahafer, Kristin King (Jamie), Megan Smither, Hannah Cooke (Daniel), Joshua Brown; and several loving great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Evangel World Prayer Center (6900 Billtown Rd, Louisville, KY 40299.)
