SHIRLEY SILVER, 85, of Hayward, California, passed on January 27, 2021. SHIRLEY was born on August 14, 1935. Shirley passed away at home . After battling Alzheimers and Dementia for a couple years . At her side were her two son`s , Donald and Richard Silver. Shirley`s son`s were her care taker`s , over those year`s, taking care of her 24/7. Because she Broke her hip in 2016 , made it difficult to get around with out help. 

Preceded in Death by her Husband Dale R Silver who passed away on Valentine`s Day 2013 from cancer . Also preceding her in Death . Was Chris and Margarate Dunkhas her parents . Her Brother Richard and his wife DeEtta Dunkhas , also her In laws Dan and Viva Silver , Her Brother in law , George Silver and his son Steve .

Shirley was born in Oxford , Nebraska , in 1935. Her Folk`s and Family were Farmers . She graduated from Beaver City High School in 1953. After School she did some Nursing , then started working at a Bank as a Teller. She met the Love of her life Dale in 1954 , at a Ford vehicle show. She was there with another couple , that knew them both and introduced them to each other. The couple were getting married in a week. The Bride asked her , if she would like Dale to be her escort to the wedding . She said YES . After that wedding , they saw each other off and on . Going to movies and dinner`s together. When Dale who had been Discharged from the United States Navy and was now helping at his folk`s farm around Funk Nebraska . Would come to town. She Married Dale , on Dec , 11th ,1955 . They lived on a farm for a few year`s . Where they started their family . Shirley gave birth to her Son Donald on March 6, 1957 and Son Richard July 26th 1958. After a few year`s Richard`s Asthma was getting worse. Doctor`s suggested they move west. They first moved to Tueson Arizona, for short time. Then moved to Long Beach California in 1960 , where Shirley started Banking again, and Dale joined the MERCHANT MARINES for a while.

In 1961 Shirleys family moved to Hayward Ca. . Start, working at Bank America in Oakland. While her husband worked for United Airlines for 7 years. They lived in several bay area cities , till they bought a house in Union City in 1970 till they sold it in 1993. Afterwards she lived in Hayward till her death.

Shirley worked in Banking from 1961 to 1993 . She worked for Bank America , Lloyd`s Bank and was also involved in 2 Bank Start up`s. Centenial Bank 1976 and Bank of Hayward in 1989 . She left Bank of Hayward in 1991. In the 1980`s she joined Pat Bugee in starting up Granny`s Victorian a victorian shop , with soaps , scents and merchandise , geared to people . Who enjoy crafts and such. In 1992 , Shirley and her family started Silver Style Ceramics in Hayward. She taught ceramic painting and cleaning and firing`s with her family. She closed the shop in March 2008. She also joined her family in a start up Office Cleaning Service , SILVER STYLE JANITORIAL IN 1989 To present. She worked at the buisiness till she broke her hip in 2016 , forced to retire.

Shirley was a loving Wife , a Great Mother to her kids. She will be sorely missed . Shirley had a private ceremony with her son`s because of Co-vid 19 retriction`s. She was Cremated at , Tri City Cremation in Newark, Ca.
