Shirley's proudest accomplishments were the lives she nurtured. She cherished her children, Carter and Neicey Adams, and took great delight in watching them grow and thrive. Her unconditional love extended to her grandchildren, Laila Cook, Sheila Greene, Cornelius Williams, Angelo Peters, and her daughter-in-law Nycresia Whitaker.

A memorial service will be held on February 23,2024 at Williams Funeral Home to celebrate Shirley's remarkable life and to honor the lasting impact she had on others.
