Sherry Severt Eller of West Jefferson died on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Ashe Memorial Hospital. She 67.

Mrs. Eller was born on Aug. 25, 1946, in Mercer County, W.Va., to Clarence Mack and Maudie Mae Jenkins Severt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Coe Eller; one sister, Carol Black; and one brother, Morris "Moe" Severt.

Mrs. Eller enjoyed painting, fishing and most of all, spending time with her family.

Mrs. Eller is survived by two sons, Mark Eller and wife Vicki of Glendale Springs, Robert "Bert" Eller and wife April of Lansing; one daughter, Jennifer "Jenny" Goss and husband Scott of Lansing; four sisters, Linda Pruitt and husband Bill and Debbie Presnell and husband Ronnie, both of Ennice, Maxine Miller and husband Russell, Donna Gilley both of Laurel Springs; six grandchildren, Christopher Eric Miller, Cory Conner, Kristin Eller, Jonathan Lyall, Haley Eller and Madison Eller; several nieces, nephews; and her special friends and neighbors at Spruce Hill Apartments.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Russell Sheets and Rev. Jimmy Galgano. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
