Sherniqua Danielle “Danny B” Banks was born on October 14, 1988, in Houston, Texas to Lisa Gayle Callaway and Rodrick Keith Banks. Sherniqua was her mother’s only child. 

Sherniqua attended Langstead Primary School, where she tested and placed gifted and talented classes. She then attended W.E. Rogers Elementary School and continued as a gifted and talented student. Sherniqua then went to Teague Middle School and graduated from Nimitz Senior High, where she graduated with honors. Sherniqua was named best dressed and 9thgrade prom queen. Sherniqua continued her education at the University of Houston where she obtained double major degrees in Communication and Business Management (with honors). 

Sherniqua was a member Lakewood Church for many of her youth years, then later joined Free Indeed International Church until her passing. Sherniqua served on several community committees. After graduating college, Sherniqua became a successful entrepreneur. She owned several businesses (tax & accounting firm, hair salon, Banks business consultant,and last but not least, she was owner of a successful food truck, D Southern Bistro). 

Sherniqua was very well known for helping others and having a heart of gold. Sherniqua was a very well-spoken lady who was about her business. Many people called her a “go-getHER”. At the age of 31, God bless her with a healthy bundle of joy, Kruz Raymond Keyes. Kruz was an extreme blessing to her, and she love him dearly. She had such a pleasure of being a mother and having someone she could actually bossaround. They were a perfect match until her life was taken away innocently. 

On September 11, 2023, Sherniqua answered the call for her Heavenly Father. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Shirley, great grandmother Nettie, and her road dog Aunt Buck.

Sherniqua is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Lisa, father Rodrick (Peggy), 4 half-sisters: Lashaun, Candis, Johnisha, and Rodreka, 2 half-brothers: Braylen O’Gilvie and Lil’ Rodrick. Uncles: Uncle Michael (Yolanda) and Uncle Clemente (Emeshia). Cousins: Ebony, Michael L, Lil Mike, Mercedes, Breaun, Pappa, Brianna, Aaliyah, Lil Harold, Lil Darryl, Michael, Brittany, Kayla, Keyke, Jammel, Kalani, Mya, Riley, Brandon, Chris, and Carter. Bestfriend/sister, Courtney Beverley. God mothers, Tanya Coleman and Mable Rhodes. God sisters, TandreahColeman and April Rhodes. God Brother Patrick Rhodes and a host of other relatives and friends.Nephews: Dwayne Dixon Jr., D’Juan Dixon, and Kenyon Simien.
