Sherlynn Cooper, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 21, 2025 in Newport News, Virginia at the age of 67. She was born on April 8, 1958 to Donald Fredricks and Clarissa Williamson in Newport News.

Sherlynn married Walter Cooper in 1999 and together they raised three children, Jersey Malone, Annette Cooper, and Joshua Cooper. She was also a loving grandmother to three grandchildren.

Sherlynn studied at Woodside High School and later served in the Navy. She was a dedicated volunteer at St. Joseph’s and My Sisters Place organizations, where she made a positive impact in the community.

In her free time, Sherlynn enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
