It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Maggard, who left us on July 30, 2024, in Carthage, Missouri, United States. She was born on September 20, 1956, to her parents Rick Lee and Jolene Lee.

Sheila was a beloved wife to Jerry Maggard, whom she married in 1998. Together, they raised a beautiful daughter, Amanda Daughtry, who later married Jeremy Daughtery. Sheila also had the joy of being a grandmother to three grandchildren. Her Grandson Steven Powell, Miah Powell and her granddaughter RayLynn Peterson, also known as Bridgett Powell.

Shelia adored her little great grand baby, Oliver Cole Dutton, his parents RayLynn Peterson and Christopher Dutton. Shelia was looking forward to meeting Oliver's Dad. She considers him her grandson in law already, Steven Powell and Miah Powell are her grandsons that passed away from a train accident. Shelia loves her grandchildren and was very happy to have a great grandson for the amazing parents

Sheila was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She brought joy and laughter wherever she went and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sheila's battle with Stage 3 heart cancer and tumors in her brain was a courageous one, and she faced it with bravery and grace. Her legacy of strength and resilience will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
