Shelia DeFore of Elkhart, Texas, passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born on February 26, 1966, to her loving parents Charles and Eunice DeFore.

Shelia is survived by her two children, Ricky Conklin, his spouse Tara Conklin, and Lisa Conklin. She had four grandchildren Kaydence, Ty, Teagan and Kaylee. Along with many brothers, Robert, Jack,Larry, David, CR, Billy, and Tunney DeFore. Sisters, Ann Miles, Barbara Duncan, Mary DeFore, Molly Valdini, Kathy Ratcliff, and many neice and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles M. DeFore, Marjorie Myers, Joan Garvey, Georgie Jones. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Shelia had a passion for coloring and could often be found with a colored pencil in hand, creating beautiful works of art. She had a contagious smile and a warm heart that touched the lives of everyone she met.

Although Shelia may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
