Sheila Jones, 68, of Lufkin, Texas, passed on September 05, 2023. Sheila was born on August 16, 1955.

Sheila is survived by her two children: Sarina Jones and Patrick Meaux. An ex son in law Reno Culler and her current son in law Joe Von. Nine grandchildren: Ethan Jones, Monica Jones (her grand daughter in law), Sefe Culler, Marisa Culler, Bella Meaux, Patrick Meaux Jr., Elijah Meaux, and Poppy Meaux. Adopted grandson: Roy Dye. One great grandchild: Layla Jones. Step mom: DD( Marilyn Pickens). Brother: Kenneth Bradley. Nephew: Zachary Dashtizadeh

Sheila was an amazing human being. She cared so much about everyone else except herself. She would give her family and friends the world before she gave it to herself.

Sheila taught at SFA and AC where everyone loved her and called her mama Jones. Her students just absolutely adored her and she adored them. She loved being an English professor.

Sheila will be missed dearly by her family and friends but we know she’s in a better place and not suffering anymore.
