We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sheila Jones, who left us on December 1, 2024, in Houston, Texas. She was born on July 16, 1954, to Anthony and Shelina Herbert.

Sheila was married to the love of her life, James Jones, since 1985, and together they raised five wonderful children: Anthony Jr, Tyrone, Damian, Kayla, and Gerald. She was also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren. Ashley, Kadrien, Damian Jr., Amelia, Kevin, and a host of great grandchildren.

Sheila was a dedicated volunteer at the SPCA organization and had a passion for helping animals in need. She was a graduate of Lanier Jr High School class of 1972.

Sheila enjoyed spending her free time working on puzzles and challenging her mind. She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love. Sheila had a passion for helping others and dedicated much of her time to volunteering in her community. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Sheila's selflessness and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

Sheila will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her warm spirit, loving nature, and zest for life will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
