Sheila Lewis was born on July 16, 1997 to Valerie and Jerry Lewis. Before the age of 2, Sheila started talking in full sentences, showcasing her brilliance to others early on. Her mother homeschooled her grades 1-12 and watched her thrive academically. Sheila started Dual Enrollment while attending both Florida Virtual School and Valencia College. Her college career started when she was 16 years old. She attended Valencia Community College from 2015 to present exploring academics until ultimately deciding she loves the medical field. Consequently, she was on the Dean's List at Valencia Community College during her entire tenure. Sheila was a licensed Emergency Medical Technician by the State of Florida. Overall, her life goal was to become a registered Nurse and dedicated medical researcher.

Her Passion for healthcare caused her to pursue her career at Orlando Clinical Research. She was an assistant CRC/EMT whose duties included researching medications being developed by pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The health and well-being of individuals was important to Sheila.  

In her free time Sheila enjoyed gardening, playing video games, drawing, flower pressing, watching Disney or Marvel movies, reading novels, spending time with her friends, chatting with family members, being a fitness enthusiast, and encouraging all those around her.

Sheila will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and zest for life. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and hard work. She will be forever in the hearts of all those around her.
