WAWAKA — Sheila Louise Hewitt, age 53, of Wawaka passed away on Tuesday. August 30, 2016. at her home in Brimfield, Indiana. She was born on May 24, 1963, to Harvey and Patricia (Christlieb) Heintzelman in LaGrange, Indiana. On October 10, 2015, she married Hershel Hewitt at Jones Lake. Sheila worked for Silgan Plastics for 17 years and also for Parker Hannifan. She loved motorcycles, butterflies and visiting the botanical gardens. Sheila was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and loved being with her grandchildren. Sheila is survived by her husband, Hershel of Brimfield; two sons, Travis (Jessica) Brimhall of Cromwell and Justin (Jamie) Brimhall of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Shaylen, Blayke, Taryn, Matthew, Brynne and Ayden; her mother, Patricia Heintzelman of Ligonier; and three siblings, Lola (Tim) Terry, Tony Heintzelman and Amy (Curt) Hasting. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Heintzelman. There will be a time of visitation held on Friday, September 2, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, and also one hour before the funeral service on Saturday, September 3, 2016. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Linda Hewitt officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Wawaka.
