Sheila was born on February 23, 1962, to Mark Allen (Deceased) and Frances Simms (Deceased) in Rocky Mount. She grew up in a loving family and was always known for her kind and compassionate nature.

Sheila is survived by her siblings Blondel Simms, Linda Simms, Phillip Simms, Donald Ray Simms, and Danny Simms. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews, and cousins and friends. She adored spending time with the ones who came to visit and creating special memories that would be cherished forever.

Sheila was a devoted mother who always put her children first and took great pride in watching them grow. She worked tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of those around her and will be remembered for her selflessness and generosity. She embraced life with steadfast passion and grace throughout her time with us.

She had a passion for helping others and spent her life giving back to her community. Her profound kindness extended beyond words. Although her departure leaves a void in our lives may she rest

in peace. Her memories are forever etched in our hearts.

She will be deeply missed by all who know her, she left an endeavor mark on the hearts of those she met. Her warm smile, caring heart, contagious laughter, and unwavering love will forever be remembered by everyone.
