We mourn the passing of Sheila Moody-Livingston, who was born on January 23, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York to Rommie (Pete) Moody and Annie Mae Brown Scott.
Sheila peacefully departed this world on September 25, 2025 in her home 104 Carlton Ave Apt-1 A Brooklyn, New York 11205. She was surrounded by her loving family and her devoted husband, Thomas Phillip Livingston, whom she married in 2015.
Sheila was proceeded in death by her parents the late Annie Mae Brown Scott(Mother) Rommie (Pete)Moody (Father) and grand-daughter Khijana Anthony.
Sheila is survived by her Husband Thomas Phillip Livingston Sr., her son, Robert Anthony Sr., (Jihkerea Anthony). bonus daughter Elma Livingston, Grand-children Robert Anthony Jr, Christopher Anthony, Karina Anthony, Kaishaun Robert Anthony, Alohnie Hansberry, Eric Livingston, Matthew Paul Jr., Great Grandson Shaun Lamont Branch III, two sisters-Florence Willie Moody Haynes and Phyllis Moody, 1 brother Archie Tex Coleman, 3 Nephews Stacey Haynes(April Banner Haynes), ,Shawn Haynes, Kevin Haynes and her Cousin/brother Tony Moody and a host of family members of that she Loved whole-heartedly.
Sheila attended S.U.N.Y.-EOC high school and graduated in 1979 . She dedicated many years to working at NYC Housing Authority before retiring in 2015. Sheila previously worked for Black Veterans for Social Justice, New York Department of Sanitation, and as a Dispatcher for the NYC Police Department(China Town). She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family.
