Shayla Ashley Waughtel passed away on November 16, 2025, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She was 21 years old.

Born on April 21, 2004, Shayla brought light and warmth to those around her. Her kindness, generosity, and strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is remembered with love by her adopted parents, Josh and Leanne Albright; her two children; six sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Shayla was preceded in death by her biological mother, Christine Richardson, and her maternal grandmother, Lenora Richardson.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Her cremains will be interred privately.
