Shay Alexander Cooper, age 65, passed away on March 18, 2018, at his home in San Francisco, California.

Coop, as he was called by friends and family, is survived by his wife of 15 years, Patty Cooper; his daughter, Tawnya Cooper; and his three grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, and Emma.

Shay was born on February 10, 1953, in Memphis Indiana to his parents Mr. Malcom and Mrs. Margrat Cooper. He attended Henryville High School (class of fall '71) He then pursued a career as a truck driver and got hired driving for Coca-Cola in 1972 where he was employed for 42 years until his retirement at the age of 60 in 2013. In addition to his career as a truck driver, Shay pursued hobbies including fishing, hunting, playing billiards, and photography.
