In the stillness of June 3rd, 2023, the world lost a shining light as Shawntay Kennedy took her last breath. Born in the heartland of Nebraska on September 5th, 1995, she was a woman of fierce compassion and unwavering love. Her devotion to her five children was unparalleled, and she found joy in the simple pleasure of life, such as spending time with friends and family.

Shawntay was a true artist, with a passion for hair that would rival the greatest stylists of our time. Her creativity and skill were unmatched, and her handds worked wonders. It wasn't just her passion for hair that made her speacial; she was also a woman of great warmth and kindness, always ready to lend a hand to those in need.

As we mourn the loss of Shawntay, her legacy will live through her loved ones, She is surved by her mother Valarie Hines, father Derek Kennedy, 5 children, as well as her uncle Dick Hines and Cheryl Hines. As well as a host of cousins, aunt, uncles, family, and friends. Although she has left this earth, she will forever be remember for her love, kindness, and smile.
