Shawn C. KellyWallkill - Shawn C. Kelly, 47 of Wallkill, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was employed as a Mechanic with First Student Bus Co. Shawn was an 11 year resident of Wallkill, NY. A former resident of Peekskill, Shawn was born on January 23, 1970 in Yonkers, NY, to Hugh Paul Kelly and Frances Green. He married Karen E. Gerstner on September 4, 2004 in Cortland, NY and survives at home.Shawn was educated at Hendrick Hudson High School and also attended Technical schools. He was an EMT Medic with Peekskill Ambulance Corp and also with Empire Ambulance Service. Shawn loved motorcycles, working with his hands, boating and cats. In addition to his wife, Shawn is survived by his parents, mother Francis Kelly of Poughkeepsie, Hugh Paul Kelly of Stuart, Fl., NY, brother Hugh Paul Kelly (Monica) of Poughkeepsie, NY, sisters Dawn Vaillancourt (Paul) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Doreen Kelly Jaffee of Monroe, NY, nieces, Skyler Hanofee, Brooke Vaillancourt, Jacquelyn Vaillancourt, Lilie Jaffee, Emily Jaffee and Ashly Kelly as well as Aunt Barbara Boben and cousin Tommy Boben. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc. 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Services will start at 7:30pm.
