Sharon Rose (Meisberger) Eckstein73, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. She was born on July 26, 1943 to the late Edward and Marie (Ebel) Meisberger in Milan, Indiana. Sharon was a graduate of New Marion High School in Ripley County, class of 1961 and was retired from Eli Lilly.Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, William E. Eckstein; children, Kevin Eckstein and Kim Morrow (Aaron); former daughter-in-law, Allison Eckstein; siblings, John Meisberger, Bob Meisberger and Nancy Meisberger Watson (Bob Kriz); and grandchildren, Jack, Elise and Griffin Eckstein and A.J. and Mia Morrow. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Doris Meisberger, Mary Ann Naugle, Janet Cooper and Marilyn Browning.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 12 noon in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Rd., with visitation prior to the service in the church from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
