It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Marie Engelson, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Sharon was born on March 24, 1945 to Raymond Edward Engelson and Lois Marie Hidenshield Engelson in Madison South Dakota, United States. Sharon Engelson passed away on May 26 2024 in Fredericksburg Virginia!

Sharon attended Worthington Senior High School and went on to lead a fulfilling life filled with love and laughter. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She worked at crossroads nursing home in Worthington Minnesota for many years!

Sharon is survived by her two children, James Edward Engelson and Shelly Shelton, and their spouses, Diane Engelson and Tony Shelton. Her 2 sisters Beverly Thier(Cyril) and Barbara(Don) Thier . She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Ashley foster(Patrick), Natasha Engelson, Melanie Engelson, Fayth Shelton and Abigail Miles and her 7 great grandchildren! She is also survived by many nieces, nephews & other relatives.

She was preceded in death by Her father Raymond Engelson and her mother Lois Hidenshield Engelson, along with her brothers Gary Engelson, Norman Engelson, Roger Engelson, and Richard(Dick) Engelson!

Sharon was a loving and devoted mother who always put her family first. She was a dedicated friend and a pillar of strength for those around her. Her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
