We are sad to announce the passing of Sharon Nally, who was born on October 30, 1957, in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, to her loving parents Garbin Nally and Mary Gordon. Sharon peacefully passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 67.

Sharon had a long and fulfilling career at Oaklawn race track, where she worked tirelessly until her retirement in 2023. She was known for her passion for the sport and her dedication to the job.

Outside of work, Sharon had a quirky and fun-loving personality. She enjoyed spending time with the many children she chose as her own and loved nothing more than riding around in her flaming box. Her unique sense of humor and zest for life brought joy to all who knew her.

Despite not having any children of her own, Sharon was a loving and devoted aunt, friend, and mentor to many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sharon's cause of death was a natural one, and while we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in the many cherished memories she leaves behind.
