Sharon Ann Evans Liles 1947 - 2016UTICA - On the 24th of November, 2016, the good Lord came and took Sharon Ann Evans Liles home.She was born on April 27, 1947, the oldest daughter of the late William Richard and Rose Mary Graves Evans. She attended Utica Schools and graduated from Utica Free Academy in 1965. On September 16, 1972, she married Thomas Edward Liles who passed away in 2000.Sharon worked for Lewis County Social Services and Bank of America.She is survived by her son, Michael P. Liles (Lisa), of New Hartford; five daughters, Christine D. Watkins, of Boonville, Victoria L. Hutchins, of Port Leyden, Catherine M. Lalone (John), of Remsen, Evangeline R. Balderston (Herbert), of Utica, and Jessica E. Switzer (Lawrence), of Leonardsville; a sister, Carolyn M. Evans, of Florida; and grandchildren, Amber Liles, of New Hartford, Brandon Reynolds, of Port Leyden, Britteny Reynolds, of Boonville, Sadara Hutchins, of Port Leyden, Staphany Liles, Taylor, Charity and Marissa Lalone, all of Remsen, Chyanne Bain, Katlyn and Dakota Balderston, all of Utica, Aaron and Jacob Roman, of Leonardsville, and David Balderston, of Herkimer. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.In lieu of flowers, please consider the Stevens-Swan Humane Society, Hospice and Palliative Care or the in memory of Sharon.The funeral will be on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
