Shannon Ware Mitchell, a beloved member of the Waco community, passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on May 8, 1969, Shannon was known for her kind heart and unwavering loyalty. She was a cherished friend to many and always had the biggest smile to share. Shannon had a passion for her children and grandchildren. She was a very protective mother and proud of her babies. Her lively spirit and dynamic personality will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shannon's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Shannon was preceded in death by both of her parents, mother Catherine Rodriquez and father Timothy Wright Sr, stepfather Rudy Rodriquez, and host of other family members.

Shannon leaves behind to celebrate her life: brothers and sisters Timothy Wright Jr, Candice Wright, Larry Shores, Cathy Weeks, Suzanne Weeks, Marcus; daughters Rebecca McConnell, Marian Zamor (Reginald), and Regina Stanley; sons Bradley Ware, David McConnell, Derrick Warren (Roseanna); granddaughters Chrishawnie McWilliams, Zaniya Stanley, Sariah Randolph, Gianna Zamor, Sienna Zamor, Kyl’Laiah McConnell; grandsons Brandon Ware-Cosby, Davion Mackey, Reginald Zamor, and Christian Zamor (due 2/2025); uncle Dan Carter (Ossie); immediate cousins Johnathan Turner, Scot Carter, Mark Carter, Vanecia Carter, Traci Carter, and Kelli Carter;
