Shannon Bass, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on October 6, 1954, Shannon was known for her infectious smile and love of life.

Shannon had a passion for gardening and could often be found tending to her beautiful flowers and plants. She also had a talent for baking and loved to share her delicious treats with friends and family.

Shannon was a devoted mother to her three children, Jordan, Griffin, and Brandon. She cherished spending time with them and was always their biggest cheerleader.

Shannon will be remembered for her warm personality, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Shannon's memory.
