On the morning of June 18, 2017, Shanique Rene Harris peacefully reunited with her family and friends in God's heavingly kingdom. She fought a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Shanique, affectionately known as "NeNe," was born the fifth child of Charles and Alice Brown in Houston, TX. In the early years of her life she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She joined and was baptized at Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was a proud 1994 graduate of Northside High School.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Lance Harris, mother, Alice Brown, father, Charles Brown, grandparents, Wright and Texada, and John and Rosie Brown. She is survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn Williams (Leslie) of Alexandria, LA, Mia Byrd (Kathy) of Houston, TX along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Her loving memory will be cherished by all. She had a vibrant personality and loved to talk! Her beautiful smile was taken away too soon by her illness. She will forever be missed by everyone who loved and knew her.
