Our dearest daughter Shanell Michelle Henderson of Bronx, New York passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 at the age of 39. She was born on July 31, 1984 to Vincent and Shelia Henderson.

Shanell is survived by her two children, Imoni Dawson and Kemyah Smythe. She was a devoted mother who always put her family first.

Shanell attended Theodore Roosevelt High School and went on to graduate from Monroe College in 2010. She had a successful career in culinary arts and retired in 2020.

Shanell had a passion for cooking, dancing, and party planning. She always went out of her way to help others and brighten their day.

She will be remembered for her infectious smile, kind heart, and love for life. Shanell will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
