Shamekia Cohen, age 45, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on December 17, 2025. Born on June 21, 1980, Shamekia was known for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering strength. She was a dedicated friend, always there to offer a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on. Shamekia had a passion for helping others, Her absence will be truly missed as she leaves behind 5 kids, Tatyana Sowell, Daijah Oliver, Nyasha Cohen, Hattie Johnson,along with 5 grand kids Shamekia's memory will live on through them and the countless lives she touched and the love she shared with those around her. She will be dearly missed.
