It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sedrick Mitchell, who was born on January 24, 1974, and passed away on April 28, 2024, in Brenham, Texas, United States. Sedrick was the beloved son of Ernest Lott and Ruby Lee Mathis.

Sedrick leaves behind a legacy of love and family, as he was the proud father of 10 children: Depree Sanders, Demarcus Sanders, Mia Dorsey, Ezraick Newsome, Brandon Mitchell, Monica Mitchell, Shadiamond Watkins, Johnathan Mitchell, Erica Mitchell, and Monique Mitchell. He was also a loving grandfather to 8 grandchildren.

Sedrick attended Brenham High School and graduated in 1991. He was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love for his family. Sedrick will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
