SORENSON Sean Vincent Sorenson, 15, unexpectedly entered Heaven's eternal kingdom on October 28, 2016. He was born on June 25, 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Jennifer Georgia and Chad Vincent Sorenson. Sean was a child of God, so full of energy and life. He befriended those who had no friends. He always looked for ways to serve those in need. He loved when no one else would love. He cried when you cried. He laughed when you laughed, or when you needed laughter. And he smiled when he met you. Sean was passionate about his family and cousins, friends, Scouting, the One:10 Youth Group at Mandarin United Methodist Church, music, Creekside High School, the Mandarin Food Bank, social media and so much more. He leaves a gaping hole in each of these places. Sean is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Albert and Georgia Buzash, Wallace and Doris Johnston, and George Sorenson, and his cousin Sarah Beth Jones. He is survived by his parents Georgia and Chad and his brother Jonathan (12), his grandparents Gary and Brenda Cook and Bruce and Wendy Sorenson, his great grandmother Susan Sorenson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Florida, Minnesota and beyond. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, November 4 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 5 in Mandarin United Methodist Church, 11270 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL with Reverend Jeffery St. Clair officiating.
