Scott Jeffrey NorrisNASHPORT: Scott Jeffrey Norris, 35, of Nashport, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on April 9, 1978, in Zanesville, a son of Jeff and Sheila Powell Norris of Nashport. He was a graduate of Zanesville Christian School Class of 1996, graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC with a Bachelor of Arts in English degree and had recently graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) degree. He had worked for the former Harry & David. He attended Maranatha Bible Church where he was involved in the Music Ministry.Surviving in addition to his parents are four sisters, Kristine (Brian) Larson, Kerry (Brandon) Bronkar, Jennifer (Dan) Hooper, and Erin (Kevin) Clark; his paternal grandmother, Waynolae Norris; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Alyssa, Kendal, Lauryn, Ava, Emma, Lily, Jackson, Brody, Jordan, and Cope.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Margaret Powell; and his paternal grandfather, Paul Norris.Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Maranatha Bible Church, 2400 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville with Pastor L. Dale McCallister officiating.
