It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scherrie McDonald, who was born on February 16, 1971, in Apple Valley, California. Scherrie passed away on June 1, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Scherrie graduated from Susan Miller Dorsey High School and went on to become a successful entrepreneur. She was the owner of "Little Sprouts," an in-home daycare, and "Tranquil Settings," a residential home, both located in San Bernardino, CA. Her businesses were a testament to her commitment to providing care and support to others.
Her personality was marked by her love for travel, shopping, and spending quality time with her loved and close ones. Scherrie was an avid reader of the Bible and had a passion for cooking, baking, and creating art, which brought joy to many. She was fiercely protective of her family and friends, always ensuring their safety.
Scherrie will always be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Starr, who meant the world to her. Scherrie also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, who brought endless joy and happiness into her life.
Scherrie is survived by her daughter Starr, grandson Apollo, granddaughter Delilah Rainey, and sister Brunetta. She was preceded in death by her mother Brunetta and brother Roderick.
Although Scherrie is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
