Sarah was a rights activist that sacraficed to the point of getting kicked out of her house because of her new and radical ideas. She put everything on the line and cared a lot about others and what they were going through. Something else to note is that Sarah was a great person who thought of problems as challenges. Growing up she had body image issues and she saw that as an oppurtunity to get to know what others were going through. Sarah died of organ failure and her lifelong companion and sibling Angelina Grimke died 6 months later from a stroke.
