On Saturday, April 27, 2024, God called home another angel, Sarah Goyens of Tampa, Florida.

A Homegoing celebration will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 North 30th Street, with Elder Charles Davis, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Sarah Goyens was born February 12, 1957, in Bronx, NY to the late Jimmy and Pearl Goyens.

Sarah, known for her infectious laughter and kind heart. A compassionate, warm and loving person who touched the lives of everyone she met. Sarah Goyens was an inspiration to both young and old, and truly loved the Lord. She was a faithful member of College Hill Church of God in Christ for eleven years until three months ago when her illness prevented her from attending. Her desire was to return to her church once more.

She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory: two daughters, Ann Goyens (Randy) and Mother Goyens, who were her pride and joy; three grandkids, Devonta Palmer, Deanna Palmer and Timothy Buie; two siblings, Twanda Pride Sureller and Andrew Curtis; five nieces and nephews, Kenneth Pride, Zenyetta Plair, Mikeela Goyens, Sim Thomas and Sonovia Reed.
