Sara P. Garcia born on November 11, 1940 in Victoria, TX went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2023 at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her brother, Guadalupe Pedraza. She is survived by her husband Adolfo Garcia; children, Olivia Lopez (Robert); Janie Lozano, Michael Garcia, Teresa Maldonado (Gerard); 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and one blessing on the way; sisters, Julia Valdez (Victor), Margaret Pedraza, and Angie Ramirez (Jerry); also, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Trevino Funeral home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2. We are grateful to all the doctors and nurses that took special care for our mother. We would also like to give a very special thanks to all the wonderful nurses from Odyssey Hospice as well as her provider and dear friend, Ramona. Services under the direction of by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
