Montgomery, Sara JosephineSara Josephine Montgomery, 52, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan died peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at St. Paul's Hospital. Sara was born on August 20, 1964 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, the daughter of Adam and Hedvig Marie (Aamodt) Knorr. Sara attended Kerrobert High School and graduated in 1982. On October 20, 1984 Sara married John Montgomery and they had two sons, Thomas and Curtis, who Sara loved dearly. While being a busy mom and wife Sara also pursued night classes and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation. Sara's professional integrity made her an asset to all those she worked for. Sara was passionate about soccer and loved spending time both playing or watching John and her boys. Sara is survived by her best friend and loving husband John Montgomery of Saskatoon; her two sons Tom (Megan) Montgomery of Martensville, SK and Curt Montgomery of Saskatoon, SK; her parents Adam and Marie Knorr of Kerrobert, SK; her brother Morris (Wendy) Knorr of Clavet; her two sisters Maureen (Terry) Deschner of Dodsland and Ellen (Denis) Huot of Penticton, BC; her two grandchildren Declan and Nolan; as well as her many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Family. 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A tea will take place at the church immediately following the interment.
