In Loving Memory

Sandra Lintz, 68, of San Francisco, California, passed on June 24, 2022. Sandra was born on September 13, Sandra Laverne Lintz was born in San Francisco, California to the proud parents of James Washington and Charlie Mae Lintz on September 13, 1953. She was baby number nine out of fifteen and the shortest.

Sandra and William Gant had two sons William Jr. Gant & James Washington Sherman Gant. The children were raised in Oakland, California. Sandra was an exceptional mother that cherished the time she spent with her boys.

Sandra enjoyed fishing, with her yellow fishing pole, sewing, spending time with family and friends, going to the casinos, playing games, and listening to music, especially to oldies and gospel. She particularly loved films of horror that are gory, and her favorite subgenre of horror involved zombies. Sandra enjoyed making her family happy by making her famous lemon cake.

Sandra was affectionately known as “San” and “Quick Sand” by her family. She was one of a kind. She was highly generous, kind, respectful, humble, compassionate, gentle, empathetic, loving forgiving, optimistic, and trustworthy. She was the type of person to give you the shirt off her back. She performed beneficial acts for others without expecting anything in return. She didn’t hold grudges and was incredibly physically strong. She was resilient and strong willed even up to her last days.

Sandra was asked several questions during a family zoom while in the hospital. Who had the pretties eyes out of your siblings? “Me”. Who was the snitch out of your siblings? "Pearline”. Who got in the most trouble? “Me”. She also was very adamant about going fishing.

Sandra was baptized later in life where she is accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father James Washington Lintz mother Charlie Mae Lintz, brother James M. Lintz sister Patricia A. Ragler brother Charles E. Lintz.
