Sandra Buckner-Rice, 58, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 21, 2025.

Born on February 23, 1967, Sandra was an only child. She was a woman who found her greatest joy and peace in the outdoors. She had a true passion for horses and loved nothing more than spending her time riding or simply being in nature.

She was the beloved wife of the late George Rice Sr., who preceded her in death in April of 2025. Sandra is lovingly remembered by her children, Maddison Buckner and Erick Buckner, and her stepdaughters, Ashly Rice and Koren Rice.

Per Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for close friends and family at her home on November 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Following the celebration, an ash release ceremony will be held over her beautiful garden, fulfilling her final wish to be laid to rest in the place she loved.
