YORK Mrs. Sandra Ann "Sandy" Kemper (Everhart), 77, passed away in the York Hospital on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Sandra is survived by her husband, Herbert Kemper of York; children, JoAnn Martin and her husband, Steve of York, Sue Myers and her husband, Jeff of Dover, and Rev. Daniel Kemper and his wife, Michelle of York; brother, Kenneth Everhart and his wife, Shirl of Wrightsville; and sister-in-law, Helen Everhart, wife of the late Martin Everhart, Jr. In addition she leaves behind five grandchildren, Aaron and Deanna Martin of Tucson, Ariz., Daniel Kemper, II of Dallastown, Zachary Myers and Benjamin Myers of Dover, and Kelsey Martin and her fiance, Daniel Gutshall of Dillsburg; as well as three great-grandchildren. Sandy was born on December 13, 1937, in York, to Martin Everhart, Sr. and Vergie Everhart (Cassel). She graduated from Central High School in 1955. Sandy married her high school sweetheart, Herb, in 1958. She was an active and dedicated member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church for many years, and later became a faithful member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene. She was a retired employee of the Central York School District. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2015, at 4 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Bayse Reedy officiating.
