It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel McComas, who was born on December 22, 1989, in West Portsmouth, Ohio, United States. Samuel tragically took his own life on August 1, 2025.

Samuel was the beloved son of Harold and Janice Cox. In 2013, he married the love of his life, Kerry McComas, and they were blessed with two beautiful children, Lucy and Justin.

Samuel was a dedicated employee at a nursing home, where he touched the lives of many with his compassionate care and kindness. In his free time, he enjoyed playing 11 different instruments, showcasing his musical talent and bringing joy to those around him.

Despite the challenges he faced, Samuel will be remembered for his loving heart, bright spirit, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
