It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Higgins Jr., born on February 9, 1973, and departed this world on November 6, 2023. Samuel was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed. He resided in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, where he lived a life full of passion, love, and dedication.

Samuel was a remarkable individual known for his kind heart and unwavering compassion. No matter the circumstances, he always found a way to bring joy and comfort to those around him. He had an infectious smile that could light up any room and a genuine charisma that drew people to him. Samuel was a true beacon of positivity and radiated an incredible energy that left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

As a son, Samuel was an unrelenting source of support and love. He cherished his father and mother , Samuel Higgins Sr. and Patrice Higgins, his two sisters, Anita and Tamera, his two nephews, Jesse and Jeffery, and his four nieces, Angel, Kanecka, Ronaesha, and Jennifer,above all else. Samuel's family brought him immeasurable happiness, and he dedicated his life to ensuring their well-being and happiness. He was a devoted son and brother , always finding time to nurture their relationship and create unforgettable memories together.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Samuel was deeply connected to his community. He possessed an unwavering loyalty to his city and tirelessly worked to make it a better place. Samuel was actively involved in several charitable organizations, dedicating countless hours to improving the lives of those less fortunate. He understood the true value of giving back and used his platform to advocate for positive change.

Samuel was a lifelong learner and a passionate advocate for education. He always emphasized the importance of knowledge and personal growth. Samuel had an insatiable curiosity and a deep love for literature, often spending hours lost in the pages of his favorite books.

In honor of Samuel's memory, a memorial service will be held on November 14, 2023, at St. Mark's Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Samuel are welcome to attend and celebrate his incredible life.
