SINGLETARY Samuel Chandler Singletary Jr., age 66, passed away at the Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville, FL on November 5, 2016. He was born on October 3, 1950 in Jacksonville, FL to Samuel Chandler Sr. and Carmel Singletary. He worked in Financial Services for 35 plus years with his last position being a consultant with Crawford & Company in Jacksonville, Fl. In addition, he was a graduate from Jones College with a BS degree. Samuel enjoyed playing his guitar and writing music and poetry. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Samuel Sr. and Carmel Singletary. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lona Ree Singletary of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by two sisters, Sandra Mulligan (Patrick) and Sherry Autry, four brothers, Terry Singletary, Randy Singletary, Pat Singletary (Julianne)and Rob Singletary. A Celebration of Samuel's Life will be on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL.
