Sammie McLin Jr, 72, of Houston, Texas, passed Sunday, May 10, 2020. Sammie was born to Sammie L. McLin Sr, and Bernice Trishell, February 03, 1948.
Sammie graduated from Lanier High School in 1967 and received a degree from Jackson State University.
Sammie served his country as a airplane mechanic in the AirForce
Sammie is survived by 7 children: Angela Donald (Fred), Donie Cummings (Candace), Stacey Burks (Yolanda), Francetta McLin (Jeremy), Sandra McLin, Tammie McLin (Ronald), and Sammie L. McLin III. He is survived by 7 brothers and 2 sisters Johnnie McLin(Charlie Mae), Charles McLin, Michael McLin(Lori), David McLin, Ronnie McLin, Robert Evans Jr., Phyllis Vetitoe and Linda Clay (Mozell). He also is survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
