Sam Nguyen, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 24, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born on July 14, 1939, to Dong Nguyen and Dien Thi Nguyen.

Sam was a dedicated employee at UMASS Boston, where he worked tirelessly for many years. He was known for his hard work, sense of humor, and contagious smile.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hau Thi Nguyen, whom he married in the year 55. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Kathleen Nguyen (spouse Paul Nguyen), Huy Nguyen, Kevin Nguyen (spouse Linh Luu), and Vicky Nguyen (spouse Sang Nguyen). Sam was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren.

Sam will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for life, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Sam. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
