Sam Jones, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 11, 2024, in Sacramento, California.

Sam was born on January 3, 1943, to his parents Sam and Diana Jones. He married his wife Dorthy in 1941 and together they raised four children: Lache, Maiesha, Kaniesha, and Sade.

Sam attended Burbank High School and went on to further his education at Arc. He had a successful career working for the State of California, where he eventually retired in 2035.

In his free time, Sam enjoyed playing basketball and watching games with his friends and family. He was known for his love of the sport and his competitive spirit on the court.

Sam will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
