We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ruthie Mitchell-Johnson, who was born on December 13, 1966 in Killeen, Texas, United States, to Harold and Rachelle Johnson. She peacefully passed away on December 10, 2025.

Ruthie was a devoted mother to her five children, Marcus, Makeya, Hassan, Hadiya, and Galan, and a niece she raised as her own child Latisha Molett. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren. Ruthie studied at Round Rock High School and graduated in 1984.

Her untimely death was caused by sepsis and pneumonia. Ruthie will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, her love for her family, and her unwavering faith.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
