God's Garden

God looked around his garden and found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, ‘Peace be thine’.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Ruth "Ruthie" Mosby, 84, beloved and humble mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed quietly on April 16, 2021, surrounded by her closest loved ones. Ruthie was born on December 10, 1936. Ruthie lived quietly, loved deeply, and served faithfully. Her legacy includes her sons, Joseph Lamont Mosby and Michael Oliver Mosby; her grandchildren, Joseph Lamont King (Satara King), Lindsey Marie Mosby-Osman (Kay Osman), Dominique Jessica Rovin (Keith Rovin), Christopher Jordan Mosby, Jayden Luna Mosby, and Jaxson Alexander Mosby; and her great grandchildren, Elliya King, Keanu Phoenix King, Aaron Kofi Osman, and Jordan Nasir Osman. Ruthie was predeceased by her husband, John Oliver Mosby, Jr. in 2001.
